Project Bling A Ding Ding... Updated again: 09/09/10.

So I just bought a heap of shit from the states for my DRZ and figured I'd start a thread here to show the before and after pics...

I recieved a new front fender and rejetted my caby the other week, but other than that, of the current batch of mods I've only recieved my LED flasher relay - not too exciting - and some new smaller mirrors... so more pics to come in the following weeks.

I hate it when people suggest all sorts of crazy shit to do to my bike....
but have you thought about powdercoating the swingarm a nice shade of black to match the frame?

Don't miss riding a sports bike... BUT I do miss having one to take to the track. That said, I sold the sports bike cos I couldn't afford the track so there's really no loss there...

As for the pipes, they just look a fuck load better, and sound a fuck load nicer than any of the other pipes available and still have stacks of road clearance - was a no brainer really...

I have, and I got Ninexz to mock up what it would look like in photoshop for me but I don't think it added anything to the bike, well... Not enough to make it worth while.

Although if I get anything powder coated black soon it will probably be the Triple camps that get done.

Don't get me wrong - I'm still thinkin about the swing arm and sub-frame, but I kinda like it silver anyhow...

awesome pics snedzorz, what kinda camera have you got?

She's looking nice, I love the metallic blue rims and I like the little subtle blue things you've bought to compliment them.
I don't know if I like the hand guards though, kinda look like big ears.

I've got a Nikon D90... the photos actually aren't that good, I was lazy and couldn't be arsed by the time I finished so I just did a quick touch up in Lightroom before I uploaded them.

Next to come:

LED indicators on the rear.
Blue Silicon radiator and carby hoses.
Blue Goodridge braided brake lines.

Then it will be back onto internal mods for my baby.

New springs, front and rear, re-gas the shock, big bore to 436cc (potentially stroke it to 462cc - depends on my pocket), new carb, new cams.
