Also, the bike that everyone is excited about is made by a guy called Goldammer Also, you can't effectively turbocharge a single because small turbos (read those not used on ships and trains) are impulse wheels, which means that they don't store energy or work against a closed valve effectively, which means that the exhaust pulse would come through, spin up the turbo, the turbo would then suck in some intake air, run the pressure up against the closed valve and slow/stop, losing all the energy put in by the exhaust. The ideal number of cylinders to turbo is usually 3 or 4. 5+ gives too much exhaust overlap and below 2 gives you spooling issues as above. ![]() |
