Im glad you said other side, not wrong side. BSA's like to be different.

Which side the shift and brake is on isn't a matter of right and wrong.

Which way the shift pattern goes however..

Makes sense now.
But yeah, tough bike, tough stance.

Off topic though, like many cars with quads, most of these bikes have stacks for each carby, all of the same length.
Is it possible to make trumpets for the cibby like that and run uni filters??? (I was already kinda told no in an earlier thread, but logic in my mind points me to yes)

off topic answer, whoever told you that you can't is a spastic. it works and works well. the pod setup uses MC23 carb brackets to hold the pods but i went with short stacks on the open setup but you could just knock up some long ones or use 2 sets of the long centre ones...

on topic...

off topic, sorry, but i was given to understand you can't just do it, that you'd need to re-tune the carbs to suit the change in airflow. it was me and drew who said that, so you can draw your own conclusions. i am, however, a skeptic about most things and am willing to stand corrected when presented with sufficient evidence Wink

Is that her name? She's hot, I wouldn't mind a Gilera either.

Actually I said that they would act as individual airboxes costing you power and torque because of a helmholtz resonator effect.

Also, the bike that everyone is excited about is made by a guy called Goldammer

Also, you can't effectively turbocharge a single because small turbos (read those not used on ships and trains) are impulse wheels, which means that they don't store energy or work against a closed valve effectively, which means that the exhaust pulse would come through, spin up the turbo, the turbo would then suck in some intake air, run the pressure up against the closed valve and slow/stop, losing all the energy put in by the exhaust. The ideal number of cylinders to turbo is usually 3 or 4. 5+ gives too much exhaust overlap and below 2 gives you spooling issues as above.
