Valve Lifter tool Required
Does anyone have a valve lifter tool i can borrow? Ive been using a C clamp with a socket piece to pull the tappets out but im having problems putting them back in
if anyone has any other DIY valve lifter tools they would like to share or if you have the actual tool let me know. Thanks

Sorry, im confused. Are you looking for a valve spring compressor? To remove valve collets?
Or are you somehow actually lifting your valves with a g clamp and removing your tappets? Do gixxers even have tappets? Do you know what you are doing? |

The powerband is under the valves right?

Powerband is next to the No.2 pitch rate gyro, Floating diodes are under the valves.

Since he didn't post a location though, i just figured i'd whore it up a bit. Point of fact, a valve spring compressor can be had from supercheap for about 20 bucks. Dont know why you wouldn't just buy one. |
