I've tried 3 oils and the Motul has without a doubt been the best. The $9 stuff has tons crap in it and carbons up the engine really badly. Doesn't sound like a big deal until you have to remove a seized up power valve ever 2000km.
I did try some Fuchs oil too but gave up it when I wasn't able to get a good consistent supply.
Since running the Motul 710 I've had no oil related problems at all. It works.

Are these your actual figures for fuel consumption? I just cant imagine any highly tuned 2-stroke getting better fuel economy that a 4-stroke. My 180cc 2stroke Gileara Runner Scooter was about 6l/100km for example.

Maybe I'm wrong though.....

These are infact my fuel economy figures. I've got a large sample set. The scary part is that the Aprilia was getting 3.2 - 3.5L / 100km before I rebuilt it.

I always try to fill to the same point in the tank and reset the trip meter after a fill up.

So either my RS125 is REALLY good on fuel or the CBR250RR is really bad.
