Start with the right tools in the first place. Otherwise you're basically just shitting where you sleep, so to speak. You'll have to clean it up yourself. Which screws are you referring to? The float bowl screws or carb boot screws or what. Be specific..

Impact driver is a big plus, I was having trouble with my carbs, bought an impact driver and life was a lot simpler after.

If you cant get to the carby boot screws because their rounded do your best on the others then rip it out, replace the damaged boots afterwards.
Float bowl screws you can use impact driver cost probably only $25 - $50 for one or just use a correct fitting screwdriver and vice grips on the handle with pressure and turn. If the screws start to strip then just use the vice grips to remove or extractors. |
