RE: Update on the MC22 project :) FINISHED!
Decided to do a little more on this bike to get it closer to completion.

Pulled off the fairings:

Replaced the engine cover from this:

to this:
[Image: scaled.php?server=685&filename=i...res=medium]

sprayed the top triple and clipons
[Image: scaled.php?server=192&filename=i...res=medium]

Finally removed that old barend. Surprisingly easy to get out.
[Image: scaled.php?server=254&filename=i...res=medium]

As you can see, all i did was drill a hole inside the clipon through the barend and then once it drilled through the rubber, i just twisted the barend, drilled more of the rubber, twisted, drilled, twisted, drilled and she fell straight out afterwards.

[Image: scaled.php?server=215&filename=i...res=medium]

also polished this bit of the engine cover
[Image: scaled.php?server=41&filename=ip...res=medium]

Just waiting on some levers from XCite now to finish it completely, then i'll put on the new grips, barends, pegs and the fairings can go back on. Also bought a new fairing stay bracket and some rubbers for the luggage rack bolt thingamajig.

haha, thanks!

Yeah, i thought it was finished, but seemingly found more things I wanted to do and couldn't beat the prices for the things XCite sells, so just waiting on them to turn up which should be today or tomorrow, and we should have a winner by the weekend Smile
