Looks like an MC22. How's the engine going? Looks like a good bike to restore. Congrats.

RE: Just got a new project :)
Thanks mate, the friend of mine i got it off said it starts and runs, but very very rough and needs full throttle on before it starts.

Sounds to me like the carbies need a damn good cleaning, balancing and fuel replaced, fuel filter and a damn good service. Unfortunately couldn't start the bike when I was there because the battery was dead. I trust the guys, so thats not a worry, im sure i'll get her running right in no time!

Bought the project to do with my dad, as my dad is no longer able to work as he has unfortunately been diagnosed a little while ago with Motor Neurones Disease, which is getting progressively worse. Nothing like a bit of bonding. He used to be a mechanic a long long time ago, so with his guidance and my hands to do the work, it'll be a great project to work with him on.

Sounds good, you shouldn't have much trouble getting it up to scratch again. Spend another $1000 on it and you will be able to sell it for quite a bit. If that's what you want to do that is.

RE: Just got a new project :)
Haven't decided whether I want to keep it or not, I have a friend that needs to learn how to ride more, so i'm thinking I might get it roadworthy first and get her on the bike. Then when she leaves at the end of the year, strip it down completely. Knowing me however, once I start on her, I'll probably end up wanting to pull everything apart and clean it\replace stuff Big Grin

Already thinking about a TYGA kit for it.

RE: Just got a new project :)
How much fork is sticking through the triples??
Looks fair to much lol.
Also epic price for something like this, wish I could find a beat up one cheap so I could work on it and ride my current one.

RE: Just got a new project :)
LOL, why not TYGA kit it? How come people don't like them? Its either buy a new fairing kit for 100 less, or get a tyga kit... somehow I think getting the TYGA kit would make the bike worth more and more people interested in it!?

Yeah, the whole fork setup does look dodgy, i'm just not sure what needs rectifying to tell you the truth...

Thanks Juxt for gettin the pics up Big Grin
