Hi, sort of on topic lol,
I know a few people (incl. myself) who jump start the bike by rolling it down the hill and letting the clutch out to start the bike. Does this have any negative affects on the bike/battery? Especially if its done every couple of weekends. |

Roll starting is just using the road to kick the engine over as opposed ot the starter. It's not going to gurt anything, except your parking options.
I found today that no amount of jumping the bike will substitute having the fuel turned on. Also if you are a sunday rider like me, getting a trickle charger for your bike while it's sitting being neglected isn't a bad idea. MatchTheClown. Sig. |
