RE: From Chile to Alaska
Hello Slojo,
Just mentioning that I have been keeping up to date with your blog. Great read so far and I am absolutely dripping with jealousy that you are you and not me. Keep the updates flowing and the more pics the merrier. I must say I enjoy your writing style as well. Keeps me thoroughly entertained whilst reading. Just a small thing, I know you conveniently place the pics near when you are writing about the places, but could you put a small cap under all of them even if it just says what it is ![]() Thanks mate and ride safe!!! Also those rock formations south of Pichilemu are called volcanic plugs, or what you could imagine as roots of volcanos once that have been eroded down, some of them might even be called what is known as a cryptodome, where a volcanic pipe doesn't hit the surface under wet sediments because the sediments have too high a density. Just thought you might be curious. |

RE: From Chile to Alaska
Hey jlyall thanks for following mate!
Yeah I try to caption all the photos on the blog but sometimes I get lazy, internet access is everywhere here but decent wifi can be a bit harder to come by in the backwaters and I prefer to blog from my netbook. And thanks for the info on those rock formations, makes sense because that whole area is very seismically active, Constitucion was almost completely destroyed by an earthquake and there are volcanos all over the place there. ![]() http://slojo.tumblr.com | Twitter: @1slojo | FB: 1slojo |

The latest from Rodney, he made it onto some small town TV news and got interviewed.
Pause at 1 min 34 secs to see the CBR250.COM sticker on his bike! ![]() Even I somehow made it in a photo on there and I'm back home in aus already. Lol.
