After long last, and a free weekend... I made another start (just a little one).

Just to bring everyone up to speed with what was done between moving interstate, technically did that twice Here's what's happened...

Lived in Brisbane with This.. Not too shabby at all..


Then I crashed and purchased an unpainted fairing for $300

??? (pics missing - media server went kaput)

Then I crashed then I thought why not rebuild it...

and this happened..




and then I got a job on the mines and packed it up...

then I bought this...



which I still own and love..

then I moved to Canberra... ERROR!

And started on the engine after making a bench out of saw horses and waterproof ply

then moved to Queanbeyan

and built this workbench...


and this weekend I did this...
















I will need a clutch center holder of some description to remove the clutch - anyone used the universals for this task? like from supercheap?

I am a little concerned about the UNEVEN wear on the bearings.. thats not normal in these engines is it? like... wear on oposite sides of the bearing but not all around it. Seems strange to me. comments? opinions? on draglines uneven bearing wear means chatter and eventually snapped shaft :O but that on a much larger scale.

I am going to have to group everything in ice cream containers before I do anything else, I am out of space.
