RE: Battlefield 3
Most games are free on pc Blush

I'd like to see how photoshop and premiere run on the ps3 also... If they did at all.

Consoles have a purpose, but if you're going to have a decent pc for non-gaming anyway they're definitely the better option.

Justin.

What the deuce? Scoped RPG-7??!

EDIT:
Just realised you mentioned Eyefinity there Merudo. I've only managed to get mine working in Need For Speed. I could never get it to work with BF2 or CoD properly... Sad

Do you use the WideScreenFixer program?

1) They are two completely different scenes.
2) how much does the PC cost that can render that.
3) PS3 is just more fun to play on period.

Photoshop? Premiere?

That sounds like something some designer hipster would buy. And then they'd probably get a mac anyway.

I've just been using the catalyst control centre and setting up eyefinity that way. I haven't tried BC2 myself but haven't encountered too many issues thus far, except Rainbow Six Vegas 2 wouldn't work properly, much to my sadness Sad

RE: Battlefield 3
I would say playing a game on a PC is way better than a PS3 (and I have a PS3). First person shooter on PS3 is a POS. Graphics is WAY better on a PC and internet is faster also, more players per game and alto of aussie servers. If you are cheap ass then yes a console is good value but if you are like me who has a mrs that earns more than me and leach off them you buy PC's

Hmm.. I've tried with just Catalyst Control Centre, but its always stretched to span the 3 screens, instead of actually being 4320x900

RE: Battlefield 3
This game is SWEEET. Played it a lot more last night.

The one problem (which can probably be fixed in settings) is the writing on the screen for team-mates / same side. Half the time you can't see who is shooting at you coz you are looking through a bunch of writing Big Grin hehe

So awesome though .. much more "real"
PS .. Worm wtf do you mean internet is faster on a PC? PS3 should be able to max out whatever bandwidth you have. I know mine does (40MB)
