I only ask because I know you've been out there quite a few times, but where would you recommend accommodation wise for staying out near the track? Or can you camp on the grounds?

Depends on what your looking for
Cheap and slightly dodgy but clean enough - O'Mahonys Irish Pub (I stay here mostly due to the price $50/night for a double - $40 night for a single).
There are a few motels around - they are all decent enough.

The good thing about warwick is the center of town is around 10 mins from the track - so any accommodation in town will be grand.

Camping at the track is only available for competitors.

Cheers

That's pretty cool they let competitors stay at the track though! Thanks for the info. $50/night for a double at the irish pub sounds like a bloody winner. Cheers.

The next round being the final round of the season usually encourages everyone to put in their best, so the racing will be as good as it gets!
Hope some of you can make it out to cheer on the 250 battle! Come say hello to us in the pits - most of the 250's pit together at the end of the pit paddock on the grass.

Yeah, I'd like to catch up with you guys and see the racing out there at Warwick. I've yet to go out there (still!). How's the FZR going? Do you still have that? I remember you bought it off a mate a few years back.

Sim,

Who do you get your Pirellis from and how much?

Matt

Yea I rode the FZR last round - I've been riding my CBR mostly, but an engine rebuild meant I had to spend some time on the FZR, got down to 0.5 seconds off my PB time, so the FZR is going great.

I got my pirelli's through a sponsor, but you can get them through Brisbane Motorcycle Tyres, and a couple of other places.

Hope to see some of you out there. I'm going do some winning, but it's not going to be easy. the competition is pretty ferocious toward the front.

Cheers

Ok the entry list for this weekend is up and there are 11 CBR250's in the field, 10 400's mostly CBR/VFR/RVF's in Formula 3 and Formula 4.
So come out and watch the bikes do battle. Will be perfect racing conditions for maximum grip, also 6 races for each Formula means a hell of a lot of racing over this weekend. Also there are sidecars, siuperbikes, 600's and 125GP bikes.

Hope to see some of you out this weekend, come say hi to us - we will be pitted on the grass, just look for loads of 250's and 400's together.

Cheers
