mc19.... first bike
First off hi..... my name is jayson im from bundaberg, qld.... and i just bought 2 days ago my first bike.... thought it would be a good project to do to keep me busy.
bike is a 1989 MC19 with 36xxx ks on it..... came with most parts minus few things....... included was a few brand new parts... chain, all new brake pads, new sprockets and few other things..
ended up getting it for $500.. bargain i think!

Plan is to resore it and ride for first bike Smile
will try and put some pics up soon!!

$500 is a great price Smile long as the engine is in good condition and doesnt need replacement.
I bought a second MC19 for the same price and ive certainly enjoyed working on it.
Compare when finished hahaha Big Grin

Hey man, welcome to the forum. I know how great it feels to get your first bike, hope you can get it running without too many headaches. Just enjoy working on it and youll learn loads, and have a nice little bike at the end of it all

thanks to all... yeh gunna be a bit of work but ohh well learn stuff along the way i guess.. im only 19 so yeh should be fun... Smile
and yeh we only put the the fairings on just to see it together, took them straight off after that... there is alot more stuff in boxes...

Like I said the bulbs are like $30 to 40 each at honda. Crazy price.
