Removing the old gasket was a major BIATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Couldnt think of a way of removing these things so i improvised, wet the gasket with oil then use old wooden chopstick to scrape it off LOL!!!!

CRC gasket remover is your friend and a paint scraper. I'm sure chopsticks work all the same. Big Grin

RE: Finally got off my fat asian ass!
LOL, i can't believe you used a chopstick to scrape off the old gasket! bahahahaha, that cracked me up Big Grin

When Mootavic and I were doing mine, we used some blades from a box cutter, but you can also use a razor blade type thing aswell and obviously watch out you dont cut yourself or dig into the actual casing doing it Smile

RE: Finally got off my fat asian ass!
monkeyKING: nah i use to go there but at uts now

Pronto: i bought the lights like 3months back? i got the very last one.

raskol: i was using my phone to capture the images only 8mp and it was a htc, its cam aint that great compare to other phones.

Madman: yer i know, while i was scraping it i was thinking to myself "wtf? but hey it works LOL!". i thought bout using razor blades, but i thought it might of scratch the metal and indents n possibly cause future leaks? idk, i was thinking funny and coming up with funny scenarios.

does anyone else have any suggestions for me to do? cant really think what else to do...the last guy i bought it off spent approx $900 on services @ Red Barrons (approx 2000km ago).
