RE: any detailers on here?
grabbed a bottle of swirlx2. even if it is filler (like the others), i'll keep it waxed every now and again to keep it shiny and polish it once in a while. seems like no polish by hand is going to remove the tiny scratches properly and you'll need a orbital with machine polish to do it properly.
guessing the talcum is just filler too, but i'll try it out just for fun. lol ive heard of trying toothpaste too. |

+1 on the 3M swirl remover, damp applicator, micro fibre buff cloth and don't push very hard. If you cant get 3M AutoGlym make a good product as well. I usually drop into my local spray painters and pick up swirl remover its the good stuff and usually only charges me $10 for a 250ml bottle i take in. Also when ever i buff i always add 20% swirl remover in with my compound and i get heaps better results.

![]() I was speaking to the paint shop the other day the recommended something in between polish and cut that does the jobs very well. Forgot what's it called tho. Maybe polyglaze? |

Lol VG's, I'm there almost every month now and still haven't checked out one of their paint lesson days. Only place in Sydney that stocks Septone aerosols
.Just ended going with a swirl remover off the shelf at Autobarn. Think it's Meguirs swirlx2 or something. Does the job. |
