Wheel question
I've done a search but but couldn't find any info.
are the cbr400rr NC29 wheels and bearings the same as the mc 22? I've been able to buy front wheel bearing for my 29 project but can't find any rears (people sell them in the UK but won't ship to aus) |

RE: Wheel question
I doubt the wheels are the same. Might use the same bearings tho.

RE: Wheel question
99% of bearings will be a generic sized, readily available bearing, especially in a normal swingarm.
If you do have trouble, use the part number obtained off cmsnl and google it, 9 times out of 10, it is a part common with a few other bikes and some mob in the USA will have it ready to sell. |

RE: Wheel question
If you take your old bearings out and take them to any bearing shop, you'll find a match.
Get the RS version which have a rubber seal to keep moisture out The wheel bearings are easily available but the one thats really hard to find is the bearing within the rear sprocket housing From memory, I think the number is 6004 but i'm not sure, so double check before you buy Real Men Ride em Nekkid

RE: Wheel question
I just found what I posted ages ago on the old forum archives:
_______________________________________________ Front Wheel Bearing number - 6004 Rear Wheel Bearing number - 6004 2 required for each wheel. The guy at the shop recommended that i buy the "Z" type which is sealed at one end rather that the "Double Z" that is sealed at both ends. He said that the double Z tends to get a bit noisy after a little use. Wonder if its true ? ___________________________________________________________ Real Men Ride em Nekkid
