Rossi intends to stick with Ducati for another 2 seasons after this one! I mean I know he hasn't much choice cos Jap Inc won't take him back but I actually expected that he might see out the year and just fuggen retire.

I'm not a huge rossi fan, but he finished TEN PLACES ahead of capirossi in the championship, on a bike that he's not comfortable on at all... He also finished tenth or better when he finished, of which it was every race except three. Malaysia, of course, I'm not counting.

He certainly still has plenty of fire left in the belly I think...

I have no doubt he does but he does seem to be in a bit of a psychological slump since he's not been winning. The most telling thing is the way Jeremy Burgess' language has changed when talking about Rossi over the latter part of the year. When he says things like "We're not getting the information we need from the rider." you know things aren't too flash in Rossi's garage.

I would have liked to see him go to suzuki, some of the commentators have been saying the suzi is up there but lacking a rider,

I think he's staying because ducati promised to build him a jap style bike, with an alloy frame distinct from engine, when a bike is leaned over, the suspension is chassis flex, and c fiber doesn't damp well, so it's always been a bad idea, for a top of the line race bike,

Suzuki could only afford one bike last year! and now none this year.

I wonder what hayden will do? he's always been "the 2nd" rider. This year will be pretty interesting with CRT and all. either they'll get it right or it will be a flop.

thats right tik, but that depends on ANY of the CRT bikes even make it past the 107% rule and actually getting on the grid in a race in the first half of the season.
