yeah don't worry. my pimp hand is strong. I won't go nuts with red and gold annodized shit and too much carbon... I'm pretty conservative in taste and have to admit the duc looks fking hot straight out of the factory.

tik, how would you do the V differently? end it higher up so it's not between the headlights? round it off? not sure what you mean. I quite like it like that, but keen to visualise what you mean.

Yeah just round it of at the tip just to soften it cos it looks out of place. There are no other lines that sharp on the bike. Look at the white panels in the tail. No hard corners at all.

See what I mean?

'tik.

Wow, great to see it all turned out in the wash. It isn't common these days for people to take responsibility for their actions. Confused

New bike looks HAWT!!!

Keep us updated. Big Grin

just bought a few bits for her. carbon tank guard, kickstand bypass kit (currently bike cannot be started on the sidestand which is farken annoying), titanium steering damper bolt, carbon preload adjusters (not sure if I'll use them as I like the clean look with nothing on top of the forks).

trying not to go nuts with titanium now as practically every bolt on the bike has a titanium replacement available in kit form. even the dzuz fasteners come in titanium! I wonder how much weight you can shave by replacing every bolt with one that is approx 40% lighter? have to be a few kg in it....hmm.

here's the dyno graph. seems pretty decent, about 115hp at the rear wheel. not too bad for an old jigger but probably only just in front of a modern 600...

yeah it is a torquey mutha. you can still pile on a fair whack of pace short shifting at like 6,000.

it really is a lovely bike.
