TUFF Little Cookie
So I got this MC22 a while back:

Although it had low k's, it was totally neglected and infact was sitting in the previous owners back yard for 3-odd years because the rego ran out.

*Hating on people who neglect their cars/bikes*

Started stripping it apart, everything required some sort of attention:

Got a fairing kit from a forum member, thanks buddy!

Started putting it together:

Went for a ride through Yarra Glen, fucken awesome!

So it sat like this for a while:

Then I decided to paint the tank in 2pac on a nice set of sunny days:

Project finished. TUFF!

TUFF!!!!!!

And recently, went to change spark plugs and POS thread snapped inside! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!

This whole project took about a year to complete to a state where I was happy to rego it and be done!
Full specs are:

Grey Import CBR250RR MC22 1994
Reco'd & balanced carbs
Valve clearance/new shims
520 Chain conversion with 14/53 gearing
Rebuilt forks
Repsol fairing kit
Orange eGay levers
ProBolt orange bar ends
Oz-Spec switch assembly
Super comfy Italian bar grips (can't remember the brand)
Ozzymotorcyclefairings can exhaust - sweet piece of gear for the $$
Pirelli Sport Demon tyres front & rear. OEM size
& obviously new oil/air/fuel filters, new battery, gaskets & seals

So yeh, moral of the story ALWAYS KEEP SPARE SPARK PLUGS, because if your cibbie doesn't start it's probably your fuken spark plugs!
Oh and everyone should do a 520# conversion. For the sole reason that the phat rear sprockets looks PHAAAAT!

RE: TUFF Little Cookie
Lol, cool... Tank looks epic! What do the rims look like? Surely some rash to get rid of?

Bar grips are Progrips?

RE: TUFF Little Cookie
Question for you btw, how come you pulled the engine out considering you only did an oil/filter change on it?
Unless there were other things you needed to fix? Just curious.

RE: TUFF Little Cookie
those rims in orange would set it off i reckon

either that, or orange overload..

i think if you were gunna paint the rims, do the frame in a black aswell
