Condition of Chain and Sprockets?
Hi Everyone!

I'm looking at buying a CBR250R and the seller has sent me some pictures of the chain and sprockets and would like an opinion on the condition of the chain and sprockets from the photos attached.

I've also attached a picture of the front forks which have very small spots of rust but not in the travel of the forks. It looks to be surface rust but not sure.

Does anyone know how much it would cost for a new set of sprockets & chain fitted?

All of your opinions welcome.

Thank you for your help!

Sprocket and chain look dirty if you'd ask me, not sure if the owner has regularly cleaned and lubed them.

Sprockets are pretty close to needing replacement I reckon. They also have some uneven wear as well.

Chain doesn't look well maintained..

With a good clean and lube I'd say they'd probably be fine for a while. Note how the teeth still have the flat tops on them too, the chain you won't really know the condition of properly until it's properly cleaned and lubed up, and then you can diagnose if it has any stuck links etc

I just had a RWC done on mine with rust spots on the forks and they didn't care.
