RE: stuffed handle bar / bar end - solution?
Is there no threads left on there to screw in the bar end bolt?

Mine was also broken but luckily had enough threads left for me to screw in the bar end bolt. Once and if you can get the bolt in there just pull at it with a pair of pliers. As far as I know the only thing holding it tight in there is some rubbers so it may help to spray some wd40 to get it to slide out easier.

Not sure how the 250's bar ends are designed but on my 954 the little metal ring inside the bar is held in by 2 little triangle teeth, if you bend them back in or break them off the whole bar end would come out. The 2 teeth were about 20mm in from the edge of the bar.

Try get the screw out. If you can't then take out the whole metal rod out of the handlebar and replace it with a new one. They cost $24 from Honda.

extractor?

I got rid of mine by drilling the whole thing out then using hooks to remove it.

RE: stuffed handle bar / bar end - solution?
I would just buy an ebay bar end pair with the squishy rubber thing to hold em in (generic bar end) and remove that with a drill, whackometer, and pliers Big Grin

Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.
