Phone OS poll
Been meaning to do this for a while .. just interested to see the results on our little forum Smile
Bit of a noob thread by the way, probably way more options, but that's all I really care about. Main reason is all the in house bitching I get at work with my brainwashed Apple colleagues. They refuse to believe that they are now a minority Tongue

Android all the fucking way...

Although... I am keen to see what Microsoft have instore once Windows 8 comes out... Could see some nifty handheld/home integration that only Windows would really be able to pull off...

That said... I'm an open source fan boy.

RE: Phone OS poll
Yeah any comments of people on a certain OS and wanting to switch are relevant too Smile

I know I won't ever be going back to iOS personally. Will take something pretty mega to move me from Android too at this stage.

I had a play around with that Windows demo, but wasn't that impressed. Too many boxes Big Grin

Have you rooted your DHD and put ICS on there yet?

I'm thinking about it... They're starting to get some pretty stable builds out there now.

RE: Phone OS poll
Nope .. bit of a noob when it comes to that. Used to jailbreak the iPhone but that's coz you had to in order for it to be useful Smile

My mate bombarded me with a heap of threads and options to do it, and it freaked me out a bit, looked a bit too risky. Apparently the DHD is a decent one to do it on though .. and seems pretty popular so there are lots of "builds" for it ... or is it not phone specific?

Got that on my DHD and it's been a great update. No longer do I hand up on people getting the phone out of my pocket (or answer when I don't want it to).

But Android all the way. Used to have an iphone3 and 4 but not anymore.
