Stereo for Shed opinions
Bought a property and this is one of the sheds that I'm going to convert into my man cave - roughly 20m x 8m.

I have a JVC 160watt micro system in my current shed but I dont think it will have enough punch. But they dont seem to make bigger units these days - its either micro, home theater, or seperate amp / speaker combos from what I see.

Curious as to what people think might be a good option - I was almost thinking of mounting a car head deck in the wall and wiring up a car amp and speakers.

Depends on what you want to listen to or what you plan on using it for...

Personally, I have all my music on my phone or MP3 player, and both have a radio as well, so I'd just look at getting a decent set of computer speakers and leaving a charger/dock next to the aux input.

I have a massive stereo I never use you can have for really cheap man... metal is awesome out of it, it has 2 subs, and surround speakers if you hook up a tv in your man cave also...

I dont use it cos I live in units.... bass shakes the walls. want pics? or you getting all new gear for the new man cave?

RE: Stereo for Shed opinions
Yeah I would just get a cheapish amp and set of relatively big speakers off ebay or somewhere like that.

RE: Stereo for Shed opinions
Guys on building sites use car stereos, they sound great. So cheap to make as well. I would do that, easy to mod later on as well.
