I did the diode LED change to a GB400 Honda I have.
I did this change about 12 months ago and have had no issues.

It looks a lot more complicated than it actually is. In fact I think it is easier than using load resistors.

I know it is probably not going to happen but the issue I was thinking of was if you use load resistors then the load they dissipate is done via heat. Thus if you leave your indicators on you run the risk of melting something.
The diode system is safer and easier in my opinion.

I tried this on my 1990 CBR250RR without much success
Bought the Diodes listed, faced them the correct way and tried a variety of wires only to pop the 10A fuse a few times.

I have Light Blue and Orange coming from the Indicator dash bulb, which also line up with those colours on the other side of the loom connector.

All the Indicator grounds are a green wire front and back.
I have Light blue as positive on the right side, and orange on the left.

I have two green wires on the same loom connector I tried, one pops the fuse, the other flashes the brake light and parkers.
Running all LED lights, cluster and indicators.

Basically given up due to butchering the loom, and I put all the wires back to normal just to have the indicators working by taking out the indicator globe to break the circuit.

Can anyone see from this what I did wrong?
Lame as but probably just take it to an auto elec to fix my blunder
