    you guys know what the general going rate is for a mechanic to do it? I'm thinking i just go down to bunnings and try to make my own manometer if it will cost >$150

    im in heathmont. i wont have any spare time until mid next week and i can pop round then. no point you bringing the bike to me as ill have to dismantle half of it anyway.

    Wow thanks Shane. I would prefer to bring the bike to you to be honest. (gives me an excuse to ride) and i understand that the bike needs to be warm to be correctly balanced? Its really no issue taking off the tank and some fairings...I'll buy you 2 slabs of your favorite poison!

    So that is where you connect the manometer to balance your carbs..
    I only have 3 fittings availiable on mine to be able to connect a hose one of them is blocked off and I have cracks in the rubbers.
    What screws do you turn on the carburettor do you turn to balance the carbs? The pilot screws? On a aus delivered carby
