    Any replacement fuel tap suggestions?

    Hey guys,

So it turns out my fuel tap is pretty buggered, so I'm planning on buying a new one. The one I have at the moment isn't OEM, so I don't think buying a rebuild kit is possible.

Do you guys have any particular fuel taps? I've considered buying a new OEM one but that's a tad expensive. I've also contacted all parting places around me, they don't seem to have any in stock at the moment.

    Cheers,
    Mike

oem is expensive because they work. many a scenario where after market ones are fitted and do not function correctly. recommend saving for an oem and avoid the headfuckery that is dealing with cheap and not quite right parts. check CMSL.com

Hey guys so I got an used oem fuel tap from a motorcycle part company. There's a lot of white crusty crap in it that I've tried cleaning out, does anyone here know what it is? Kinda hard to see, at the bottom of the tube.
