Now that we know you removed the coils there is a good chance this may be where your problem is.

What else have you taken apart?

The coils fire cylinders 2 and 3 simultaneously and 1 and 4 simultaneously.

Download yourself a bike manual, there's a link somewhere on these forums, I'm on my phone at the moment so a bit difficult to find it for you. Lots of pictures and step by step instructions showing how to set cam timing, coil wiring, etc. I've saved mine to my phone, my laptop, and my tablet, for ease of access. The best thing I ever did when I was learning how these bikes operate.

I have a manual but it's a bit vague but I'll look in there. Is there different types of manuals around? Will definitely check and report back of I get the baby started.

In the "Maintenance Section" of this forum, second thread from the top, there are links to the full manual. Not sure if any of them still work, but worth a look. The full manual is about 170mb size.

I found the manual today and downloaded it and it was much better pictures for actually approaching an problem. I bought an compression tester but the hole where you screw it into the engine is too big seeing it is problably for a car engine. I will try and find an fitting somewhere to test compression. I did try and work with the plug firing with no luck. I took a video to see.

I did not dissassemble the motorcycle, previous owner had i fall and swopped out frames and lost interest.

Is it safe to say that if I have spark I can rule our electrics? Except cam timing.

After I track down a compression tester fitting I will do a test and see what I get. Next thing is checking the cam timing I guess.

Yes, if you've got spark, generally that would mean your electrics are good. Sounds like you're on the right track.

"previous owner had i fall and swopped out frames and lost interest."

So has the bike ever run since this little piece of info? If not then good luck, you're gonna be in for some headaches, even if you had a lot more experience with these bikes.
