I wouldnt use WD40 if I were you. Rubber doesnt seem to like the stuff. Silicone oil or red rubber grease if you have it is the job!

Is there any cables underneath that could be stopping them from seating properly? Are all the boots in a perfect straight line? Lay the boots down on the intake manifold first and try move them around the smallest bit until they seem to sit on the stubs if you know what I mean? Then you can take a torch and look underneath to make sure they are all sitting right. As in no overlapping that will stop one boot sliding over the intake stub. Then its best to apply the pressure evenly across the whole bank and slide all four carbs on together.

If you need to force them they are not sitting right. They should slide on relatively easy. The boots are shaped so its easier to install them than to remove them.[hr]
Haha! Just saw your new post... forget the above post so!

    Whats the but.....

You might have disconnected the coils cable while installing the carbs. There is a cable coming from the battery area, to the coils. There is a connector on this cable, right at the LHS. Check it is properly connected.

Do the headlights turn on? Check that your ground wire is making good contact with the frame.

Yes it is on neutral, when i hit starter voltage drops to 10V. Everything else seems to be working. Just spark :\.
