    Best way to restore air duct, chain guard

    Any idears ppl how to restore faded air duct n chain guard to original black plastic or just prep n paint them.

    (I'm still after a right air duct anyone mc19).

    You will shit your pants at how good this stuff is:



    You can get it from Repco, or Supercheap Auto, or any auto shop in general...
    Make sure you wash said items first with soap to remove all the crud. Then use this stuff, let it sit for about half hour or so... Wipe it all off, then clean the item with soap again.

    EDIT: Also, don't use any abrasive sponges when your cleaning it, otherwise it will show on the finished product.

    Yeah heard bout that stuff, might (will) give it a go thanks Kritas
    I've read the old posts bout air ducts n things just thought there were other ways to go bout it. I'll use it on the navara too.

    I sprayed my chain guard black and it came up nice. going to use the meguiars on my ducts and switch blocks though.

    I used some vht vinyl dye on mine, came up mint, it's been over 2 years now and still going strong

    mine just got sanded and sprayed matte black along with everything else, looks alright, wont be winning any trophies anytime soon though.
