[size=large]Motorcyclist killed after police chase ends in crash in Kogarah[/size]

The incident happened on Rocky Point Road shortly before 2.30am when a motorcyclist collided with an on-coming vehicle, about 100m south of the Princes Highway.
Police from Botany Bay Local Area Command had been pursuing the motorcyclist.
The male motorcyclist was treated at the scene but died on arrival at St George Hospital a short time later.
Crash Investigation Unit officers are examining the scene; Rocky Point Road is closed between the Princes Highway and Gray Avenue and traffic diversions are in place.
Police from Miranda Local Area Command have formed an independent investigation team to examine the incident.
What is everyones opinion on what police should do in these situations?
It's a tough call. There were apparently up to 8 cars in the chase.
They were never going to catch the bike. It's very lucky that nobody else was also killed and was quite possible looking at the car.
