    2 different tires..

    Hey guys,

I'm a bit annoyed right now.
order tires from Jake Wilson -
Tires arrives within 3 days -
    got it fitted today -
Got home and was about to install the wheels back on the bike -

Checked the tires just before I was about install the wheels and found out I got Sportec M3 for the front and Diablo Rosso 2 for the rear.

First thing came into my mind, the tire place did a dodgy on me. Gave them a call and they said they don't sell them tires but they're good tires.

So what you guys think of the Metzeler Sportec M3? should I just run the 2 different tires or harass Jakewilson regarding sending me the wrong set of tires??

Well, what did you actually order in the first place?

before you harrass them, it could have just been an honest mistake. I think definitely tell them what has happened (im surprised you didnt confirm what you received before fitting them though!) and see what they offer to do about it.

What i meant by harass is just emailing them and see can they sort something out with me.

I didnt check the tires when it came in because it was all wrapped up. Got the BIW to fitted for me as he needed to do his one as well.

Maybe even give them a phonecall, if you're willing to stay up to speak to them during their live chat / service desk hours. Their support is very, very helpful - though I've only dealt with Rocky Mountain ATV, I'm pretty sure they are the same company as Jake Wilson.

you prolly had more chance before you fitted the tyres. not i dont really see what they can offer you except for a discount on a future sale.. worth a try but i dont like your chances since the tyre is on the bike so you wont be able to send it back.

I don't mind keeping it if it's similar to the rosso 2. Getting mix review on the net. Some say it's good some say it's average
