I hope you do get this running sweet one day!

My only word of advise would be (and it seems you may have already) read every attempt at retro fitting efi to bikes that you can find, learn from their mistakes and take note of clever innovations that may be applied to yours. Every 60 page thread you can find, cause most of them will be at least 60 pages long.

I can't see that it will give you any more power though it may help improve mid-range and transtion onto throttle moments etc as you can reference TPS to give fast enrichment with quick throttle openings etc.

what do you think you'll gain over a dialled in carby set-up?
I'm not looking for more power dude. If I wanted that I would start with other easier and less costly modifications or I'd buy a bigger bike.

What I hope to gain is an improved fuelling curve throughout the range, a modernised high revving 250 engine, the flexibility of having full control over the fuelling, being able to make changes to the power train and matching the fuelling without having to even remove the tank, possibly improved throttle response and, later on, having the option to take control of the ignition if I want.

And above all that is the challenge to try and fit efi to an engine like this successfully.

    It doesn't rev that high

I'm sick of people saying it... when it actually doesn't

Redline 19000, I would assume it go a bit higher than that. My 19 slapped the tachometer at like 19k from memory.
